About

Industry depth.
In the classroom.

Before Oracle, I was VP Cloud Platform at Broadpeak, building CDN products and video delivery infrastructure used by broadcasters and operators across Europe, APAC, and the Americas. That meant shipping real products under real constraints — not prototypes, not proofs of concept.

Today I'm Senior Principal Product Manager at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, where I work at the intersection of cloud platform engineering, media infrastructure, and go-to-market strategy. I've spent years building OTT and FAST platforms, SSAI systems, and cloud-native media workflows — the systems that invisibly power the streaming services students interact with every day.

Guest lecturing matters to me because the gap between what's taught and what's built is real. The best students I've met want to understand why decisions were made — not just how a protocol works, but what tradeoffs the team was facing before a launch. That's what I bring.

French engineer, US-based, with experience spanning Europe, North America, APAC, and LATAM. Lectures available in English and French.

Curriculum

What I Teach

Every topic is drawn from direct industry experience — built, shipped, and operated at scale.

Streaming Architecture

End-to-end platform design: ingest, transcode, package, deliver, play. How real platforms handle millions of concurrent streams without breaking.

CDN & Edge Delivery

How content delivery networks work, peering, caching strategies, PoP architecture, and why edge matters for latency and scale.

Cloud Media Infrastructure

Building media workflows on modern cloud (OCI, AWS, GCP). Cloud-native transcoding, object storage, and delivery pipelines at scale.

Media over QUIC (MoQ)

The emerging IETF protocol redefining live media transport. Where it stands today, what problems it solves, and where it is going.

Low Latency Streaming

LHLS, LL-DASH, CMAF, WebRTC. The tradeoffs, the real-world limitations, and what "low latency" actually means in production environments.

OTT & FAST Platforms

How streaming services and free ad-supported TV channels are built, monetized, and scaled. The business model behind the platforms students use daily.

Streaming Economics

Unit economics, subscriber models, ad revenue, churn, and the business logic driving every major streaming decision behind the scenes.

Ad Tech & SSAI

Server-side ad insertion, dynamic ad insertion, programmatic advertising in video. How ads get into streams without breaking the viewing experience.

Product Management in Deep Tech

What it means to be a PM on complex infrastructure products. Roadmapping, stakeholder management, and GTM for highly technical products.

Building Cloud Platforms

From zero to enterprise: how platform products are conceived, built, and brought to market. The full lifecycle of a cloud infrastructure product.

Engineering Leadership

Technical leadership without losing engineering credibility. Managing teams, setting technical direction, and scaling organizations across geographies.

International Tech Careers

Navigating global careers in tech: EU to US transitions, working across cultures, and building international product intuition across regions.

Judge the delivery for yourself

Inviting a stranger into your class is a risk. Here is how I explain things in front of an audience and on paper — judge it before you spend a class session on me.

Booking FAQ

Questions professors ask before booking

The real ones, answered straight. Anything else, send an inquiry and I'll answer it personally.

How much does a lecture cost?

Fees are agreed together after a short call. I keep prices off the site on purpose: every session is tailored to a course, a level, and a length, so I quote your session, not a package.

What happens after I send an inquiry?

You get a personal email reply, usually within one business day. No assistants, no sales team: you are talking to the person who will teach your students. If it clicks, we book a short call and tailor the session to your syllabus.

How do we schedule the session?

By email. We agree a time that fits your course calendar. Send me two or three dates that work and I will confirm one.

How far in advance should I reach out?

A few weeks is comfortable, especially for in-person dates. Short notice is often possible: most sessions can be confirmed within a week.

Which format fits my course?

A guest lecture (60 to 90 min) fits one class session. A workshop (3 or 6 hours) suits a deep dive. A lecture series builds one topic across 2 to 4 sessions. If you are not sure, send an inquiry and I will suggest one.

Do you speak remotely or travel to campus?

Both. Remote sessions run worldwide. In person, I travel across North America and Europe, and we agree travel details on the call.

Can you tailor the session to my syllabus?

Always. Every session is built after a short call with you: student level, course goals, and what your class has already covered.

What does my department need to provide?

For a remote session, a video call link and a room with a screen. For in person, a date, a room, and directions. I bring the rest.

Bring Real-World Streaming Expertise to Your Classroom

Takes two minutes. Here's what happens: I reply personally by email, usually within one business day. We agree on the format and length on a short call. You get a session built for your syllabus — no commitment until we've agreed. English or French, remote or in person.

Three things make an inquiry easy to answer: your course and student level, the topic or format you have in mind — “not sure yet” is a fine answer — and two or three dates that could work.

1

You send this — no obligations.

2

I reply personally by email, usually within one business day.

3

Short call to tailor the session, then we lock a date.
